The Miniature Zebu Cattle (Bos Indicus) is a true miniature as there are several miniatures introduced today some
are hybrids of larger cattle breeds. I find the Miniature Zebu charming as they are a small brahma with their hump being very characteristic of the breed. Their original place of origin is in the India and Pakistan
regions. Here at the farm I bottle feed the calves to ensure they are sweet and friendly which help when they mature and you need to handle them. If a pet is what you are wanting the best in my opinion are the steers.
Some people have taught them to pull a cart. For further information on this breed please contact the AMZA (American Miniature Zebu Association) and IMZA (International Miniature Zebu Association) |
